Our custom longbows are built in the style of the American flatbows. The slightly reflex/deflex design allows the archer to participate in national and international championships in almost all federations according to the rules. Franz Harg, the Austrian exceptional longbowman, has won all his national and international titles with his Bodnik Custom Longbow! 3 x Gold Medal WA in Maribor for Austria and Franz Harg with his Bodnik Bows Custom Longbow "Widowmaker". Despite this very traditional bow shape, all our custom longbows surprise with exceptional performance. We realize especially in the grinding process on the limbs our knowledge and expertise in the field of function and effectiveness. The Bodnik Custom Longbow for the extra long draw lengths. We guarantee up to a draw length of 33" a soft and comfortable draw behavior. For draw lengths of 32 and 33" we clearly recommend the bow length of 70". The limbs of our custom longbows are built in the Super Speed version. The limbs are composed of at least 8 different laminate layers. In addition to the Bodnik Bows Super Flex bamboo laminates, we also use a layer of carbon and Stabil Core in the individual limbs to realize performance and precision at the highest level. For the Bodnik Bows longbows we have many beautiful natural woods, laminates and veneers available to customize and build your very own bow.
